I'm still debating, altho it hasn't been long since my last post so it figures rite? Anywho on a lighter note, after my last adventures, where I left off at my tipsy nite at Oasis, the next nite I went to Queer Prom (where I got no pics). So this Queer Prom was just an event held by the local LGBT youth group, GAB with sponsoring by "the Centre" I think....i guess. So it seemed like it was gonna be a casually dressed event even tho it was called Prom but ppl were dressed pretty spiffy anyway (oh yea and the theme was Alice in Wonderland, i saw a Mad Hatter and even met Alice herself!)

It took me awhile to get there cuz I still have yet the ability to navigate the streets and transit system of Vancouver. But when I got there (for the last hour and a half), it was pretty unnerving. So much ppl there, lookin' so good, chattin' with each other and there I was, an out-of-towner, knowing no one. So I felt SUPER out of place and wandered back and forth alone for a while until I saw one familiar face from the Centre/GAB, and basically latched onto her but the evening was winding down by that time anyway. I just felt really shi**y tho, standing there all alone, and being the shy, nervous person I am really didn't help. But in the end I met some nice ppl (by force, had to take a taxi with 2 other ppl to make the last Skytrain to get home so kinda chatted with them a little) and like I said there was Alice herself, who was a bubbly 16 yr old girl who's outfit apparently came from a sex shop hmmmm.....and met one of the facilitators of GAB, who I might add looked pretty yummy.....new crush! lol. who happened to have went to McGill 10 yrs ago, interesting omg whoo! hottie!....

anyway so it wasn't too much fun for me which was too bad becuz there were some totally hunky pieces of candy there....I mean how sad is it that the funnest part of it was when I spun a wheel answering trivia questions about gay culture and won 2 stickers.....how very old lady of me huh......anywho enjoy the pics from Oasis and I'm stealing Kristine's pics from George Michael concert to show off too (but I'll put up the GM stuff another day) :p and maybe a videos of the concert too :p I will Show and Tell u all about my Day at the Beach and the arrival of Kristine's baby!!!! Yeahhh!!!!

Ok I have to start by saying that today I'm a little down, altho I did start out my day great at the beach....now I've got this problem of figuring out how the hell 2 get back 2 Montreal properly becuz apparently taking the bus is gonna be a problem, since I have 1 too many luggage. Omg! Ridiculously dumb! I would've paid like 150$ for the bus and saved 100$ because to fly out of here, it's gonna be 189$ plus txs and fuel surcharges blah blah blah! which comes out to $290! but now I'm gonna HAVE TO fly out and waste 100$ more if my stuff don't fit on the bus! ARGHHH! It's so upsetting being held back by silly lil restrictions.

So now I'm debating how I can reduce my luggage load to get on the bus or just be forced to pay the airplane ticket (which by all accounts is pretty cheap but when u throw in the txs and whatever....does not seem worth it) What to do?? How am i gonna find my way outta this or will I have to extend my stay and whore myself out to Vancouver's work force to make enough money to get outta here! But that totally does not fit into my plans and throws my scheduled application to Katimavik wayyyyy off! (Katimavik is the national volunteer program that I wanna join, especially since it's my last chance as of now since I'm gonna be too old in a year!) Another round of internal debate! Wonderful....more wonderful....my savings will take a HUGE hit....."sighs"
