So hello beautiful world of the inte---inter----interNET, that's what they call it these days right?? Anywho it's Day 6 in Vancouver, BC on the beautiful West Coast, where currently it is sunny with clear skies @ 33 Degrees, which is super wonderful for Vancouver apparently but means certain death in dear ol' Montreal.
Big event for today was the kickoff for BC's 30th Pride Event that starts off with East Side Pride (which was basically free outdoor concerts/entertainment/info booths/merchandise tables with food being sold....mmmm food is always the big attraction, which evidently is equivalent to Montreal's Pride Community Day) . So I attended that with my lovely buddy Ms. Greenwoods/Boisvert. Had to wake up at like 9:50am tho because the event was 11am-5pm, but didn't actually begin until noon, so THANK YOU KRISTINE for making us go early for nothing. Apparently I was told this year's E.S.P (nothing to do with psychic abilities) is not up to par with previous years, layman's terms, it sucked! Well I had an interesting time checking out what happens when Pride Fever hits the West Coast.
But today was just the launch of what will culminate in the big Parade 1st week of Aug. Still not sure how long i'm staying tho. Will I stay long enough to catch West Coast Pride or rush back for Montreal's??? Oh dear, so hard to choose.
So I've seen some of the city but I haven't actually gone full out and explored yet, still kind of a afraid of going out alone, it just gets............lonely. Well I'll be back soon for another update with pictures too!!! as soon as i figure out this blog stuff....what a complex intranet age we live in....dear dear dear.....
